Payback cycles = upgrade cost ÷ extra profit per cycle, rounded up.

The 100,000 cash default matches reported upper-floor platform buttons, not a measured profit rate. Extra cash per tick and the minutes between ticks are values you read in your own lot. Public pages do not publish one universal tick interval. Group, Premium, VIP, and 2X Money bonuses are left out unless you already include them in the extra cash you type.
